The Tactile Art and Therapy Project participated in Vision 2025, an international conference held in Italy in September 2025, where it exhibited tactile-form units — three-dimensional teaching materials developed for people with visual impairments.
The team brought one set of "Figures Units" — designed to enhance the spatial cognition of people with visual impairments — and gave a hands-on demonstration to international researchers and practitioners. To accommodate the venue's constraints (no tables could be installed), the team produced a drawing-board-style display stand on site.
Demonstrating the educational effectiveness and practical utility of the tactile-form units at an international conference provided a valuable opportunity to raise international awareness of the project's contributions to education for people with visual impairments.
